Hello again my lovelies!

I very rarely blog clothing from designers who don't sponsor my blog but I make exceptions for something simply spectacular.

This Collabor88 exclusive by Zaara is just GORGEOUS! Initially, I wasn't going to blog this gown but a friend of mine did a "Formal Gown Challenge" on Facebook and this was my photo for that challenge. So, I thought, oh what the heck...I'm going to blog it.

It is fitted mesh for Maitreya's mesh body only and is available in several colors.

I should note that the color in the cover photo is the actual color of the dress. I took some artistic liberty with this photo on the right.

Hello again my lovelies!

Before I get to today's post, I just want to introduce you all to IMaGE Factory. It's not a new store but they are new to Violette's Closet. IMaGE Factory is owned by Jessicaann Wrigglesworth who designs clothing, shoes and accessories for both men and women and she also makes full perm items as well. So I'm very excited to be working for her.

Ok, so if you like hunts, this will be the post for you because I have two hunt items to show you from IMaGE Factory and PosESioN. Both items are for the MENstuff Hunt that will begin tomorrow, January 15th.

The first hunt item is this amazing top that my handsome model, Roman, is wearing. It's from IMaGE Factory and it's called Tommy Hoodie Jacket Combo.

This hoodie/jacket combo is both 100 percent mesh and fitted mesh. It comes with 3 mesh sizes: small, medium and large. It also comes packed with 2 fitted mesh sizes: v1 and v2.

I have great news for guys who have the Slink Physique Male Mesh Body and the Niramyth Aesthetic Mesh Body. This hoodie/jacket will fit both wonderfully.

The Tommy Hoodie Jacket Combo also comes packed with this amazing color/texture HUD giving you 18 choices for the shirt, 16 choices for the hoodie and 12 choices for the leather jacket.

The pants I'm wearing are also from IMaGE Factory but they are not a hunt item for the MENstuff Hunt.

The pants are called Bro Jeans. They are 100% mesh and come packed with 5 standard sizes.

The Bro Jeans also comes packed with this color/texture HUD giving you 4 pants options, 2 belt options and silver and gold metal options.

Just something for you to note: Roman is wearing the Slink Physique Male Mesh Body and as you can see, it fits him perfectly. If you have any other male mesh body, I do suggest trying on the demo prior to purchase if you like these pants.

All the poses you see in this post is the second hunt item in the MENstuff Hunt and it's from PosESioN and it's called Ahn. This is a 5-pose set for men.

Roman is wearing eyes from Ikon's Triumph Eyes collection and the color is called Rustic.

First let me apologize to you for not churning out posts like I was before the holidays but my real life has gotten quite busy and will be for the next couple months but, I will be bringing you 2-3 posts a week with some awesome newness from my sponsors.

Look No. 232: Some Days I Stay In My Pajamas All Day

I don't know about you but I love my pajamas; and yes, if I can wear them all day, I will. I especially love them on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Pajamas just seem appropriate for the Holidays. The best kind of pj's are the footie pajamas, or better known as the onesie. So today, I'm going to show you some awesome pajamas that I'piteme just released and what's cool is, these are available for men too.

The name of these pajama's I'm wearing is called the Ladies Cozy Onesie Pajamas (the one for the men is called the Mens Cozy Onesie Pajamas).

These are fitted mesh and come packed with 5 standard fitted mesh sizes plus sizes for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink Physique. For the men, it's 100% mesh and come in 5 standard mesh sizes.

Since all our bodies are different shapes and sizes, I highly recommend trying on the free demo prior to purchase to make sure you get good fit that you're happy with.

Both the men's and ladies onsie comes packed with this 10-color HUD. The only difference between the men's and ladies is the men get a yellow color in place of the pink. Other than that, the rest of the colors are the same.

In this post, I'm wearing eyes from Ikon's Sovereign Eyes collection. The color I'm wearing is called Starfall.

When you purchase a set of the Sovereign Eyes you'll get a total of 5 iris sizes in both system and mesh eyes. You'll also get a HUD for the mesh eyes that will allow you to change the iris size and add effects like glow, brightness and flip (changing the eye whites from light to dark).

There are a total of 49 beautiful colors to choose from...and believe me, you'll have a difficult time deciding on just one color. There is also a free set of eyes you can grab to see if these are the eyes for you.

In my first life, I am a lover of the arts which translates into my second life. In fact, I may love art in my second life more than I do in my first life. I love how the art in Second Life is so interactive; something that is rare in real life.

I was first told about Bryn Oh's interactive art installation, The Gathering, by my friend Arya. She called it weird and crazy. This peaked my interest because anything weird and crazy in SL is something I HAVE to see.

Parts of The Gathering is weird and crazy but it's also strangely beautiful and peaceful. I'd tell you more about it but this post would run longer than normal so if you want to know more, you can read Ziki Questi's Blog post about the installation. She goes into great detail about the entire experience.

Today I am wearing a bodysuit by B Bos called the Caty Bodysuit.

It is available in 6 colors (black, bone, grey, pink, red and white) and 2 patterns (cross & stripes). You can buy each color separately or in a fatpack.

This bodysuit is both 100 percent fitted mesh and regular mesh. It comes with 5 standard fitted mesh sizes and 5 standard mesh sizes; plus, it also comes with fitted mesh sizes for the Belleza, Slink and Maitreya mesh bodies. I do highly recommend that you pick up the demo prior to purchase to ensure a great fit.

Look No. 218: It's Time To Celebrate

Today I visited a very cool sim called Everlong that was created by Arnicar India. It's a place where she invites each visitor to celebrate different moments of their life. It's a water sim with very cool little areas for you to explore and in a couple trees, you can descend upwards that will take you to other places she's created. If you'd like to read more details about it, please read Ziki Questi's Blog and she even has some really cool photographs of the sim. I highly recommend you go and check it out especially if you like to take pictures.

Today I want to show you a new release by I'piteme called the Heather Top and Boots.

The over-sized top is one piece and comes in 5 standard mesh sizes plus has fitted mesh for Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya and Slink Physique. The standard mesh sizes will fit Maitreya's mesh body. Sorry ladies, this DOES NOT come with a fitted mesh size for the Slink Hourglass body.

This is the color/texture HUD for the shirt and as you can see, you have a lot of choices of colors and textures for the sweater, collar and shirt tail. It really is very fun to play with.

The boots that come with the top are called the Heather Boots.

They come in two colors: black and brown. They also come in fitted mesh sizes for Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya and Slink Physique mesh bodies. There is also a fitted mesh size for standard avatars that will fit the Maitreya mesh body. Like the top, this WILL NOT fit Slink Hourglass bodies.

The boots also come with a color/texture HUD so you can change the look of the laces and the sock tops.

Oh, I should let you know that if you have the Belleza, Maitreya or Slink feet systems, you won't need them when wearing these boots.

My pretty blue eyes I'm wearing today are from Ikon's Ardent Eyes collection. The name of the particular color I'm wearing is called Virtue.

The Ardent Eyes are an older release so they only come with 5 iris sizes in the system eyes. These do not come with the mesh eyes and HUD.

There are a total of 36 beautiful eye colors to choose from and there's even a free one that you can grab to try on and see if you like them on you.

I do want to mention that starting today, PosESioN is starting their Erotic Christmas Contest that will end on January 1st. If you want to enter this contest, here is what you need to do.

Go to PosESioN's inworld store and purchase one of the three couple poses in the contest ad above.

Have you ever sat down and thought about what YOUR style is? I have...many times. I finally decided, that my style is very eclectic. I've tried to stick to one genre (for lack of a better word) of fashion but I just can't do it; just like I can't stick to one hair color or length. I get too bored. Be it kawaii, goth, alternative, casual, high fashion....if I like it, I'll make it work to fit me.

I used to go to stores and events and just buy clothes without trying on the demos because let's face it, doing that is a real pain in the butt. I found I wasted a load of Lindens on clothing/outfits that I'd never wear. I've had greater success with clothing/hair/shoes since I started trying on the demos first. I take it home, style it and then I spend several minutes checking myself out in it. Most times I love what I see and other times it's an absolute NO! So I developed a rule, if there's no demo, I don't buy it. I don't care how hot or popular an particular designer or outfit is....I do not stray from my rule. Thank goodness most designers have demos.

In today's post, I'm bring you a couple fantastic new releases from B Bos and I'piteme. Well, the item from I'piteme came out like two weeks ago but I was holding off on it to find just the right outfit for it....but in my book, it's still a new release so I will call it that.

The top I'm wearing was released the other day by B Bos. It's called the Esme Sweater.

It's comes packed with 9 sizes: 5 standard mesh, 1 SL fitted mesh, 1 Slink Physique fitted mesh, 1 Slink Hourglass fitted mesh and 1 Maitreya Lara fitted mesh.

There are a total of 12 great color/color combinations to choose from. You can buy them separately or in a fatpack.

As I always suggest, do pick up the free demo to try on prior to purchasing to make sure you are pleased with the fit.

The awesome thigh high boots I've chosen to wear with my outfit is from I'piteme. It's called the Sasha Boot.

These boots will fit Slink Physique/Hourglass, Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya, Maitreya Lara and classic avatars. You don't need any feet systems to wear these.

You can't buy these boots in separate colors. They are sold in color packs: naturals and sparkle (no, they aren't glittery). You can also buy a fatpack comprised of both naturals and sparkle color packs. There is a free demo that I recommend you pick up prior to purchasing the actual boots to make sure you are happy with the fit.

The beautiful eyes I'm wearing today is from Ikon's Hope Eyes collection. The particular color I'm wearing is called Iron.
