Look No. 432: The End Of An Era

Hello again my lovelies!

Many of you may already heard that Christel Morane, owner/designer of Delirium Style, has announced that after 9 long years, she has decided to close Delirium Style both inworld and on Marketplace. Her words are as follows:

Hey my lovies,

Its with mixed feeling I'm telling you, that Delirium Style will close this month.

So, its the end of an era and the end of a fantastic adventure....
But its time to move on and start new things. Delirium Style has been my baby for 9 years now, and with my family, friends and amazing staff, we made DS a huge success! Special HUGE thank you to Hera my wife, Splixxen and Tailiea that was with me from the beginning. I can never thank you 3 enough for what you have done for me.

I want to thank each and everyone of my staff, present and from the past. Models, managers and bloggers. THANK YOU so much for your dedication and hard work. I have been so blessed to have all of you supporting me and helping me for all these years.

HUGE thank you to my customers who have been supporting for all these years.

The last 2-3 years have been really hard for me, I have struggled and the work has been out of joy for me. I made my self a promise 6-7 years ago. When the joy of creating is gone, I will close Delirium Style. So this is it.

The SIM will close 28th this month. We will run a goodbye sale from today 'til that date. DS clothing will never be sold after this sale, not on MP or inworld. I will announce when the sale opens.

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic about this news because I have been shopping at Delirium Style for more than half those 9 years. I have only blogged for the store since August of last year and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Last month I had the honor of being chosen Blogger of the Month which overjoyed me to no end. So I just want to take a moment to thank Christel Morane for her amazing designs and for giving me the opportunity to blog for her store that will be missed by many.

In my blog post of March 22nd called Look No. 416: Zoey, I showed  you one of 2 Delirium Style exclusives at the current round of Suicide Dollz. The panty and bra set I'm wearing in this post is the 2nd of the two; it's called Cyn Panties and Bra. As you can see, in this post, I'm wearing it as a bikini because it looks cute as such and because I can. It's fitted mesh made to fit Maitreya Lara, Slink Hourglass/Physique and Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya mesh bodies. It comes packed with a color/texture HUD giving you a lot of variety. The skin applier I'm wearing is a new release from Egozy called Kali Catwa Applier. It's available in 10 skin tone options ranging from light to dark. Each tone comes packed with 3 brow and 1 no brow options; 6 lipstick and 6 eyeshadow options; and body appliers for TMP, Maitreya Lara, Slink, Belleza and Omega-compatible mesh bodies. FYI, the Omega applier will work on Omega-compatible Bento Hands. This skin applier will work with Catwa's mesh and Bento heads. I do want to note that because I chose to get creative with my photos, the skin tone I'm using (Golden) comes out darker. If you want to see the actual tone, please see the chart below.

Another round of Suicide Dollz is open and Delirium Style is once again participating in this event. The mini dress I'm wearing is one of two exclusives and it's called Y Strap Mini. It's fitted mesh made to fit Slink Hourglass/Physique, Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. It comes packed with a really nice color/texture HUD that will give you a lot of options for the dress and strap. A demo is available at the event. This round of Suicide Dollz closes on March 30th.

Shiny Shabby also just opened a new round and Carol G. Tattoo Wear has an amazing tattoo as her exclusive for this event. It's called Instinct. This is an applier only tattoo for Slink, Maitreya Lara, Belleza, TMP and Omega-compatible mesh bodies. It's only available in one color option. This round of Shiny Shabby closes on April 15th.

There's just 8 days left until the current round of anyBODY closes it's doors and prepares for April. I have two exclusives to show you. The first are the stockings I'm wearing from [I <3 F] & Co. called Stockings [07]. These stockings are made to fit Maitreya's Lara mesh body only. It comes packed with a color texture HUD that allows you to change the colors on both the stockings and bows.

The second exclusive from anyBODY are the heels I'm wearing from KC Couture called Sadie Heels. They are made to fit Slink, Belleza, TMP, Eve and Tonic mesh feet. They also come packed with an awesome color/texture HUD that will give you lots and lots of mixing and matching options for different parts of the shoes.

Finally, Sawsan Secretspy, owner/designer of WoW Skins, has been busy this month releasing several new appliers for Catwa and LAQ. She has another one that the current round of Designer Circle (closes on April 1st) called Pam Catwa Applier. It's available in 6 skin tones with each tone having 1 brow option (the one I'm wearing in this post) and a no-brow option. Body appliers are sold separately at WoW Skins' main store. The shape I'm using in this post is the Pam Bento shape that you can purchase separately at the event if you choose. It is copy/modifiable and I have found that it works best with Catwa's Catya Bento head. I did not modify the face/head in anyway but I did modify the body to my preferred slider numbers.

Before I close, I just would like to say that I'm deeply saddened by the Westminster attack in London today. For those of you who live there and are reading this, I'm very happy that you are safe and with your families. Hello again my lovelies!

In this post I have some great items from Delirium Style, MODA Designs, WoW Skins, Blasphemic and a few more exclusives at The Darkness Monthly Event (TDME) from PosESioN, U Design and  Gild.

So this very sexy jumpsuit that I'm wearing is called Aurora Harness Jumpsuit and it is a new store release from Delirium Style. It is fitted mesh made to fit Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya, Slink Hourglass/Physique and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. It also comes packed with a HUD giving you more than several color options for both the jumpsuit and the harness.

The beautiful tattoo I'm wearing is called Shades of Darkness. It is a unisex tattoo from U Design and you can find it at The Darkness Monthly Event (TDME) (closes March 31st). There is a tattoo layer for classic bodies/hands and appliers for Maitreya Lara, Belleza, Slink (male and female bodies), TMP (male and female bodies), Signature and Omega-compatible mesh bodies/hands. If you are wearing the Bento hands, the Omega applier will work as I am using my Vista Bento Hands in this post.

The amazing platform heels I'm wearing is called Alivia and they are from MODA Designs. It's not a new store release; I actually blogged these quite a while ago. The reason I decided to use these particular heels for this post is one, they look great with the jumpsuit and, two, MODA started a special store sale where she will put 3 previous releases on sale for 99L for a full week. These heels happen to be one of those shoes on sale this week. They are made to fit Slink, Belleza and Maitreya high mesh feet and come packed with a 30-color HUD. The HUD will also five you 4 metal color options for all the metal on the heels. If you want these heels at the amazing price of 99L, be sure to get to MODA's inworld store before March 15th.

Now, for the things you cannot see in the photo above like the bracelets and the nail applier. I'm wearing bracelets from Gild called Leather Bracelet and you'll find these at The Darkness Monthly Event (TDME) (closes March 31st). It comes packed with 2 sets of bracelets and can be purchased in white as well. They are resizable simply by clicking on them. These bracelet sets were made to be worn by both men and women.

I'm wearing nail appliers from Blasphemic called Hell Nails. It comes packed with appliers for Maitreya and Omega-compatible nails including Bento. Each applier HUD will give you six color options to choose from. Do note, these appliers are just for the nails but don't fear, each of the color options comes with a black base so all you need to do is wear black toe polish and you'll be all good.

The Skin Fair opens tomorrow (March 10th) and WoW Skins is participating in that event. The applier I'm using in this post is one of her two exclusives for the fair and it's called Nesima. It is an applier specifically for Catwa's Bento heads. There are 6 skin tones to choose from with each tone having 3 eyebrows (blonde, brown and black) to choose from and a no-brow option should you choose to use your own. You will also get 6 neutral-toned lipsticks to choose from. It also comes packed with a copy/modifiable Bento shape. I'm using this shape in this post. I didn't modify the face because I wanted you to see what it would look like if you choose to use it. I did modify the body to my preferred shape and height.

Finally, The pose in the cover photo above is from PosESioN and it's part of a 10-pose set called Lucia. It's a set  you can grab at The Darkness Monthly Event (TDME). Each of the poses can be purchased separately and you can demo the entire set at the event.
