Look No. 461: Retro Glamour


Hello again my lovelies!

InspirationSL opened their Betty Boop Summer yesterday and I have a very glamourous vintage swimsuit from irrISIStible. I also have two hunt items from the Women Only Hunt 3 (ends on June 24th) from Secrets and {T'Ink}. The poolside/beachside furniture I'm using is from Chez Moi. My nail and toe appliers is and exclusive at The Vintage Fair (closes on June 25th) from Dark Passions-Koffin Nails. Finally, the shape I'm using in this post is Denver's Shapes' exclusive at eBento - The Event (closes on July 7th).




The vintage-style swimsuit I'm wearing is from irrISIStible and it's called Retro Bathsuit Outfit. It's a complete outfit that includes the one-piece swimsuit, mules, hat, sunglasses, hoop earrings (I'm not wearing them in this post) and the bag (it's leaning against the lounger in my photos above). The swimsuit is fitted mesh made to fit Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya, Slink Hourglass/Physique and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. The mules are unrigged that are made to fit all bodies. The hat is resizable so you can manipulate it to fit over your hair and the bag comes in 2 versions: with animation and without. There is a 3 color HUD that will allow you to change the colors of each of the items in this set with the exception of the earrings and sunglasses If you want this outfit, just hit InspirationSL before it closes on September 1st.

The tattoo that you see on my upper arms is from {T'Ink} called Summer Treats. It's a hunt item at the Women Only Hunt 3 (WOH3) (ends on June 24th). It comes packed with Omega and TMP appliers and tattoo layers for classic bodies.

The poolside/beachside furniture you see in my photos above is from Chez Moi called Vintage Lounger. It was an exclusive at the round of Cosmopolitan that just closed today. But don't worry if you missed this round, Chez Moi will be selling this item at the main store and on Marketplace. It's available in both PG and Adult versions. The PG version has 70 animations (30 male/female single and 40 for couples in love) and the Adult has 126 animations (30 male/female single, 40 for couples in love and 56 hot sex) that are all menu controlled, adjustable and have the SWAP functionality. Some of the animations have automatic rezzing props when chosen. With what I have set up, the land impact is 16 (4 LI for the lounger, 1 LI for the table, 5 LI for the umbrella, 2 for the lemonade jar, 2 for the lemon glass and 2 for the lemon bowl). This whole set is 100% original mesh.




The jewelry set I'm using in this post is another Women Only Hunt 3 (WOH3) item from Secrets. It's called Pineapple Set. It is only available in gold and is resizable.

The nail/toe applier I'm using is from Dark Passions-Koffin Nails called Totally Tight Tips. This is an exclusive at The Vintage Fair that runs until June 25th. This applier will work with Slink, Maitreya and Omega-compatible mesh and Bento hands.

My final featured item is the shape I'm using from Denver's Shapes called Karen Shape. This shape is made specifically for LeLutka's Bento heads. The shape is copy/modify; however, I want to let you know that I DID NOT modify the face/head in anyway so you can see what it looks like in its original form; I did modify the body to my preferred slider numbers. It can be used with any body you choose. If you are horrible at creating shapes like I am and want to pick this up, head over to the eBento event before July 7th.

Look No. 331: Ode To Ziggy


Hello again my lovelies!

Inspiration SL opened once again and this time around, they are remembering the great David Bowie. Blasphemic is participating in the event with an ode to Ziggy Stardust. I also have a new release from MODA Designs to show you as well. Finally, Pinup is participating in the current round of Kinky Monthly with an amazing exclusive.













The catsuit I'm wearing is from Blasphemic and it's called, Ziggy Catsuit. It's an exclusive at the current round of Inspiration SL.













It comes packed with a tattoo layer for classic bodies and mesh body appliers for TMP, Slink Physique and Hourglass, Maitreya Lara, Omega and Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya.











These amazing heels I'm wearing is a new release from MODA Designs called, Bianka Platfroms. They are made to fit Slink High Feet only. As I always note, MODA does not provide the feet. You will have to either already have them or plan to buy them before or after purchasing these heels.










This is the color HUD that comes packed with the heels and as you can see you get an incredible amount of mixing and matching options with 30 MODA-custom colors on 6 faces and 4 metal options.

Look No. 324: Dancing In The Street


Hello again my lovelies!

Sorry I disappeared for a few days but RL needed my attention but I'm back! In this post I'm back with a new exclusive from Lushish Catz and new releases from MODA Designs and PosESioN. Finally, Lumae has a new group gift to offer.

Before I begin discussing the outfit I'm wearing, I have some really exciting news to share with all of you. A new designer has joined Violette's Closet's lineup of awesome designers! Today I joined the ranks of Hush Skin's incredible team of bloggers! YAY! I'm so excited to be a part of that team and having been working hard for the past 6-7 weeks to earn a spot on her blogging team and it has paid off and I couldn't be happier.








This really cute outfit is a new release by prism and it's called Annaliese. It is a complete outfit that includes the hair, socks, boots and of course, the outfit.

The outfit is 100% mesh that comes packed with 5 standard mesh sizes. I am wearing this with my Maitreya mesh body; however, I highly suggest trying on the demo prior to purchase to ensure you are happy with how it fits.

The Annaliese also is available in green if red is not your color.











A couple weeks ago, I had showed you PosESioN's exclusive at Inspiration SL called the Selena Set. Today is the last day of Inspiration SL. Look No. 217: Keep Calm And Welcome Winter

Hello again my lovelies!

There is a lot of truth in that quote if you sit and think about it. Personlly, I kind of had one of those "Ah-ha" moments when I read it.

So yes, yes, the Holidays are here and winter is quickly approaching. Not only is it an exciting and stressful time in our real lives but it's also exciting, and sometimes stressful, time in our second lives. There's so much to do now in SL. A number of sims have gone to their winter/holiday glory for all of us to venture through and enjoy. The big news of the holiday season is The Arcade! Everyone is talking or posting about it on Facebook; sharing what they plan on going broke on. Then there are the other shopping events like Color Me Project, Inspiration SL, Kinky Monthly and the Vogue Fair that are either already open or will be tomorrow. So lots and lots going on to keep you from thinking about winter's fast approaching arrival.

So, to help keep you warm while you're traveling around to the various events and checking out all the winter sims with your loved ones and/or special someone, I'm going to show you a new release by Blasphemic. Also, yesterday, I showed you a few poses that are part of PosESionN's exclusive at Inspiration SL.









This magnificent coat I'm wearing by Blasphemic is called Kate. Doesn't it make you feel all warm and cozy just looking at it? I know it's how it makes me feel.











It is 100 percent mesh and comes packed with 5 standard sizes. I am wearing this coat with my Belleza Freya mesh body so it should fit with most mesh bodies. I do highly recommend trying on the free demo prior to purchase to ensure a great fit.











There are six fabulous colors to choose from: black, blue, brown, gothico, gray and purple. Each can purchased separately; however, if you can't decided on one color, you can buy a fatpack containing all the colors.



Today, I am wearing an a set of beautiful eyes from Ikon's Vanity Eyes collection. The pretty purplish color I'm wearing is called Lavender.

The Vanity Eyes are an older collection so all it comes with is 5 iris sizes in the system eyes. There are no mesh eyes or fancy HUD like the other eyes I've been wearing but, as you can see, it's still a fantastic set of eyes to wear.

The Vanity Eyes are available in 44 amazing colors. There's also a free demo you can grab and take with you so you can see if they will work for you.








PosESioN is participating in Inspiration SL that opens tomorrow.  The theme for the December round is Selena Gomez so fittingly, PosESioN has called their exclusive, the Selena Set.

In yesterday's post I showed you 4 of the 10 poses in the set and in this post I'm showing you the other 6.

The Inspiration SL event runs through December 15th so if you like any of these poses, please be sure to go there within the next couple of weeks and try them for yourself.
