Look No. 520: #SecondLifeChallenge - 7 Second Life Facts about Me, Myself and I

Hello again my lovelies!

So a few days a go, the amazing Strawberry Singh posted about her famous monday memes (now called #SecondLifeChallenge). In this challenge, she told us 7 Second Life facts about herself and she has challenged all her readers (so it's not just for bloggers) to share 7 second life facts about themselves. Well, since I am a long time reader of her blog, I decided to participate and share 7 second life facts about me, myself and I. So, here we go...

I rezzed into the grid on April 9th of 2009 at the urging of a number of DJ friends from Sims Online who were slowly transitioning into their second lives. However, the rez date you see in my inworld profile is actually not my original rez date. I actually rezzed on the grid 2 years earlier but my computer's graphic card could not handle Second Life so I didn't come back until I had a computer that could handle this amazing world.
I chose my name Violette because purple is my favorite color and it was the name I used on Sims Online (there I was Violette Illusions).
I left my second life at the end of 2010 to concentrate on my real life because of a new boyfriend. I came back at the end of 2012...several months after he passed away.
I used to be a DJ and I retired my headset and mic on after my set at the end of November, 2015 at Zocalo Music Club.
In my inworld profile, I'm partnered to my male alt so I would always be reminded that the only person who would take care of my heart like it was their own is me. I've been happily single in Second Life for 1 year and 8 months and loving it.
I'm a shoe whore and mesh/bento head junkie.
Next to my blog, one of the things I'm very proud of is that fact that I'm still good friends with the very first friend I made a few days after I rezzed inworld in 2009.

There you have it. I could have gone on and on and on but the challenge only asks for 7. Now you may, or may not, have learned something new about me. Look No. 471: Just Breathe

Hello again my lovelies!

In this post, I'm going to show you a couple Cosmopolitan (closes on July 16th) exclusives from Kaithleen's and Chez Moi, another Hair Fair (closes on July 16th) exclusive from Phoenix Hair, a new release from White Widow and a WoW Skins' exclusive at The Chapter Four (closes on August 1st). I hope you like what I have to show you.

The sweet little shorts and top set I'm wearing is Kaithleen's Lounge Wear. It's 100% original mesh made to fit Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya, Slink Hourglass/Physique and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. It's available in 14 color options and a fatpack. Check it out by trying on a demo.

White Widow has a new satellite store at *PosESioN*'s new mall area and the tattoo I'm wearing is the first release for that store and it's called Wonder exclusive Blue. It's a mesh body only tattoo with appliers for Belleza, Slink, Maitreya, TMP, Adam, Eve, Sking Brazilia Doll and Omega-compatible mesh bodies. If you are using any of the Omega-compatible Bento hands, the Omega applier should work with them.

My hair is from Phoenix Hair called Clarissa Hair. There are 10 color pack options and a fatpack. As always, all the color packs (including the fatpack) comes with the VIP only Rainbow HUD for all you Phoenix Hair group members and a style HUD giving you 4 different style changes to choose from. Be sure to try on the demo.

The beautiful skin applier I'm wearing is WoW Skins' Houda LAQ/Omega Applier. It's available in 6 skin tone options: milk, tan, golden, bronze, dark tan and caffe. Each skin tone comes packed with a hud that will give you a dark brow/no brow and cleavage options. Sold separately is the Houda LAQ Bento shape that I'm wearing. Be sure to try on the demo if you have purchased LAQ's Gaia Bento head.

My final featured item I want to show you is this amazing outdoor bed from Chez Moi called Outdoor Bed Nanai. It's available in both PG and Adult versions. The PG version has a total of 72 animations (28 male and female single poses and 44 couples in love poses) and the Adult version has a total of 130 animations (28 male and female single poses, 44 couples in love poses and 58 hot sex poses). All poses are menu controlled with SWAP functionality, adjustable and certain poses have automatic rezzing props. Total land impact is 17 (14LI for the bed and 3LI for the potted plant). Look No. 463: I'm Just A Girl Who Loves Her Girly Things

Hello again my lovelies!

I wanted to do another vintage inspired post using a super cute romper from Kaithleen's and hair from Exile Hair. I also have a fantastic pair of wedges from G&D and a new applier from WoW Skins for LAQ's recently released Gaia Bento head.

The romper from Kaithleen's is called Fresh Romper. It was an exclusive at The Tropical Summer Fair that ended on the 16th and is now being sold at the main store. It's 100% original mesh and textures made to fit Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya, Slink Hourglass/Physique and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. There are 15 color options and fatpack to choose from. Each color option and fatpack gives you two romper versions to choose from: solid and a floral pattern. Each color option comes packed with a 15-color HUD that will allow you to change the color of the ruffles and belt. The HUD will also allow you to choose between silver and gold for the zipper on the back of the romper. A demo is available for you to try on.

The hair I'm wearing is Exile Hair's exclusive at the current round of Collabor88 (closes on July 6th) called Be My Baby. There are 10 color packs and a fatpack to choose from. Each of the packs comes with a HUD to change the color of the hair band. As always, a demo is available at the event.

The wedges I'm wearing are from G&D called Jane. They are 100% original mesh and textures made to fit Belleza, Maitreya and Slink high mesh feet. They come packed with a color HUD that will give you a lot of mixing and matching options. You can find these cute shoes at the current round of Cosmopolitan that runs until July 1st. So head on over there and grab the demo. I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do.

The skin applier I'm wearing is WoW Skins' new applier for LAQ's Gaia Bento head. There are 6 skin tone options to choose from: Milk, Tan, Golden, Dark Tan, Bronze and Caffe. Each tone comes packed with the Bento applier and headless skins for classic bodies. Each applier comes with one dark brow, a no-brow and cleavage options. You can also purchase WoW Skins' Gaia Bento Shape that I'm using in this post. The shape is copy/modify but I do want to let you know that I did not modify the face/head in anyway so you can see it as it looks. I did modify the body to my preferred height and shape. If you need body appliers, you can pick those up separately at the main store.

Look No. 441: I Want To Be A Baywatch Babe

Hello again my lovelies!

They say in Second Life you can be whoever, or whatever, you want to be so in this post I'm emulating Heather Locklear in Baywatch. Yes, yes, I realize she wore that hideous orange bathing suit and didn't have a gorgeous tattoo. I did get the hair right though.

This gorgeous bathing suit I'm wearing is from {ViSion} -S&F and it's an exclusive at the current round of Uber (closes on May 23rd); it's called Amelie. It's mesh body compatible for Maitreya Lara, Slink Hourglass/Physique and Belleza Isis/Venus/Freya. There are 22 color options to choose from with each option coming with 2 versions: solid and striped. If you like all the colors, you can purchase the fatpack and of course, there is a demo that you can try on.

The amazing tattoo I'm wearing is from Carol G. Tattoo Wear called Ably. It's an exclusive at The Crossroads (closes on May 28th). This is an applier only tattoo for Maitreya Lara, Slink, Belleza, TMP and Omega-compatible mesh bodies. It also has appliers for Vista's Bento Prohands and neck appliers for Catwa and Omega-compatible Bento heads. Now, I will be honest, in this post I am not wearing a Bento head so the neck portion of the tattoo is not visible in my photographs but I do have the vendor ad below so you can see what it looks like. The tattoo is also available in white and red ink.
