Look No. 529: A Town Called Malice

There is a town called Malice. It's a lonely town that sits in the middle of the desert on the Mother Road. You know, the one they call Route 66. It's the last stop before Vegas and the first one when your leaving. Those driving west towards those bright city lights, stop by with their hopes and dreams stuffed in their wallets. Those driving east, well, their faces say it all. The folks here in Malice see it everyday.

No one ever stays in Malice. It's just a place where people come and go. There's really nothing here to see but a rundown motel, an old gas station, a little strip club and a few homes strewn about here and there. A few times a day the town is shaken up by the passing trains on the south side of town; but they never stop. This town called Malice, no really knows it's name. It's just a pit stop on Route 66 for those on their way to making their hopes and dreams come true and for those who lost their way.

Look No. 525: I Don't Smoke But Sometimes I Need A Long Drag

Hello again my lovelies!

One topic in SL that comes up every now and then in just about everyone's mind is our inventories. After 8 and a half years, 4 of those years as a blogger, in SL, I have amassed a ridiculously HUGE inventory. So this is a topic that would be on my mind a lot lately. Every time I open up my inventory, I always tell myself that I really need to just start deleting shit out of it because most of it, I just don't wear or use anymore. My problem is, I just don't want to. There is a time capsule stuff that bring back fond memories of people and certain events in my Second Life and I'm just not ready to let go of it all. Other items are clothes and shoes and jewelry that I just love and can't bring myself to part with. I'm sure there are many of you out there who totally relate to me on this. Anyway, with well over 200,000 items, I've been trying to figure out what to do with it all.

The other night on Facebook, I posted, "Wouldn’t it be cool to have something like Blogotex but it would be for our own individual inventories and we could send stuff to and pull out from as needed and then send it back for safe keeping?" It was an idea that just popped into my head that day and felt compelled to share it. Well, last night, I was contacted about this idea of mine. I'm not going to say who contacted me but let's just say, my post could actually be a reality. So I 'm pretty excited about what was discussed. We can only see what may become of my idea. You can bet that when that day comes, you'll be the first to know.

Look No. 523: #SecondLifeChallenge - My Zodiac Sign is Cancer. What's Yours?

Hello again my lovelies!

Once again, the awesome Strawberry Singh has called out for another #SecondLifeChallenge called "My Zodiac Sign". It's basically answering a few questions where you reveal a few things about you and your zodiac sign. This is my response to her #SecondLifeChallenge.

At first I had thought that I would respond with both my RL and SL birthdays but decided not to because I thought I was nothing like my SL zodiac sign until I started reading more into it. So, this is both my RL and SL response to Ms. Singh's #SecondLifeChallenge.

My Zodiac Sign in SL:

What is your zodiac sign? My Rez Day is April 9th so that makes me an Aries
Do you believe in astrology and read your horoscope often? I do believe in astrology but I don't read my horoscope often.
What are some of the traits of your zodiac sign and do you feel they reflect who you are?

Strengths: Courage, determination, self-confidence and enthusiasm - I'm pretty courageous and determined. I'm working on the self-confidence and I can be enthusiastic about certain things.
Weaknesses: Impatience, silly arguments, allowing fear to limit choices - I am all these...lol!
Likes: Animals, healthy food, books, nature and cleanliness - I love animals, reading, being outside on a glorious day and I'm a germaphobe. As far as healthy foods...it's what I eat but I hate it.
Dislikes: Rudeness, asking for help and taking center stage - I can't stand rude people, I don't like to ask for help (hence why I get overwhelmed a lot) and I'm a blogger...of course I like taking center stage.

My Zodiac Sign in RL:

What is your zodiac sign? I was born on July 6th and that makes me a Cancer.
Do you believe in astrology and read your horoscope often? I do believe in astrology but I don't read my horoscope often.
What are some of the traits of your zodiac sign and do you feel they reflect who you are?

Strengths: Tenacious, highly imaginative, loyal, emotional, sympathetic and persuasive - I am definitely tenacious, highly imaginative, loyal, emotional and sympathetic. I'm not sure if I am persuasive...I'll have to give this one some thought.
Weaknesses: Moody, suspicious, pessimistic, manipulative and insecure - I'm definitely NOT pessimistic. I always try to look at the glass as always half full. I'm also not manipulative...yeah, not that girl. But I'm most definitely moody and suspicious. I can be insecure at times.
Likes: Art, home-based hobbies, relaxing near or in water, helping loved ones and a good meal with friends - A big hearty YES to all these!

So, with that said, I'd like to extend my sincerest apology to Eonla (owner/designer of MODA Designs), the creators of Bound Box and most especially to you, my readers, for my mistake. Going forward, I will try my best to not let this happen again.
