Hi there!
I first rezzed into Second Life on April 9th 2009. My first year in Second Life was mainly about exploring and learning about this wonderful new virtual world I stumbled upon. Then at the end of 2009, real life took over when I met someone and I decided that my second life needed to end so I could focus on my real life relationship.
Sadly, in 2012, my real life love suddenly passed away from a massive stroke. My grief was deep and heavy so a few months after burying him and saying goodbye, I decided to awaken my second life and logged back into the virtual world in the hopes of finding a way to get over my grief.
I was amazed at the changes that took place over my 3 years of absence. There was mesh clothing and all the shoes and hair looked better! I started my Facebook page and started discovering all these incredible designers through the many blogs I looked at. The shopper in me came out and has never left!
Since then, I have seen some amazing changes in fashion and, of course, in our avatars. Like many of you, I have discovered some incredible designers all over the grid.
I never intended to be a "blogger". I did enjoy putting outfits together and posting my daily looks on FB sharing them with my friends. So becoming a "blogger" was purely by accident. A dear friend (R.I.P. Aissia Demina) of mine put the idea of blogging in my head. Everyday after seeing a "look" I posted on Facebook, she would message me and say, "Vi, you really should start a blog." After a few months of discussing it with her, the thoughts of my blog began and in September of 2013, I published my first blog post.
This blog was initially started as just a fun thing to do and share some of my finds/looks with friends and anyone else who would stumble upon it this blog. For a year and a half, I would post periodically through out the month; posting about items I found at different shopping events and clothing for my designer friends who also were starting their stores: Moolala, I'piteme, Heydra and Blasphemic.
In February 2015, I lost my RL job and I decided that while I was looking for a new job, I would make an attempt at becoming a "serious" blogger and pick up some sponsors and so here I am.
