Look No. 381: Saving All My Love For You

Hello again my lovelies!

One of the things I love about Second Life is how people come together to help those who are in need whether they know them or not. Last year it was The Lexie Project and this year it's The Book of Daniel.

The Book of Daniel is a special fundraising event that opened on September 10th. The event is to raise money for Daniel Estro who is the co-owner of Zerkalo, Shiny Shabby and The Crossroads. Daniel is fighting cancer and is in desperate need of support. A malignant tumor, about 7 centimeters in diameter, was discovered in his brain. He underwent a life-threatening surgery where doctors removed most of the tumor; however, what they could not remove has begun to spread throughout his brain which started to affect his brain function. He is currently undergoing both chemotherapy and radiotherapy which are very costly.

Daniel is married in RL and SL to Anais and he is all she has and Zerkalo was their only source of income. She is unable to work because Daniel is Zerkalo's designer and mesh creator. So, many of SL's designers have gotten together to create a fundraising event for Daniel and Glitzz is one of those many designers.

I hope you will do your part in going to the event, which closes on September 20th, and buying at least one item because part or all (it's the designers choice) of the sales proceeds will go to Daniel. If it weren't for Daniel and Anais, there'd be no Zerkalo, Shiny Shabby or The Crossroads.
