Boots That Rock

"Life's too short to wear boring clothes"




I love boots. I especially love boots that are funky and fun. Designer Asheranna, owner of McButtkinz, has met that need with her most recent offering...the leather Cross Rivet Stompers. The boots are availble in 13 fantastic colors (as seen in the pictures below the style notes). When you open the box, you'll see each boot two different styles...one with the black leather strap (as shown in the top photograph) and one with a matching-colored strap (as you see in the second picture above); it also comes with and without a re-sizer. For those of you looking for suede boots...stay tuned because Asheranna will be releasing these boots in suede shortly.

What I love about these boots is you can wear them to add a little pizazz to a plain monochromatic outfit or you can make a cute, funky outfit just a little more funkier and fun. Either way, when you wear these boots, you will most definitely make a splash.

The holidays are over and a new year has begun. It's time to relax with some "me" time and checking out the sales, going on a fun hunt or simply relaxing in your favorite barista. For these types of outings I like to dress in clothes and shoes that are comfortable; what I like to call my "everyday wear". So for this type of casual occasion, I have taken mesh and non-mesh items from four of my favorite designers and put them together and added some of my favorite "fun" jewelry.

The jacket is the limited edition Republica Fur Jacket from Indyra Originals, the top is actually a mini dress from Happy Undead they call the Cozy Red Dress, the funky (and I say this in a good way) leggings are from Zeitgeist and the gorgeous footwear is the latest offering from Dazed Dezinez called Sophia.

Fabulous in Plaid

I love winter. I love winter fashion. I especially love winter fashion when I spot a coat that is simply fabulous...like this one designed by Asheranna, owner of McButtkinz. I'm no stranger to Asheranna's clothing store; I own several of her mesh outfits and love them, but when I spotted this gem...my heart instantly started going pitter-patter, pitter-patter. I had to make it my first McButtkinz blog.

The beautiful red plaid of the coat is understated and stylish with wide, black, fur cuffs at the end of the sleeves and around the neck; accentuating it with a cute little plaid bow, set slightly off to the side. The collar is a petal-like design, in black, that goes all the way around the neckline...which I think is adorable. Simple gold buttons line down the front of the coat and a black "belt" at the waist to break up the plaid...a smart design move because it just gives the coat that "something extra". She finishes the hem of the coat with the same black petal-like design found at the neckline which, I feel adds to the adorability factor. In addition to the coat, she designed matching high heel boots that come with and without a resizer to guarantee a great fit. What makes the boots? She adds a black band around the center of the matching  red plaid trim of the boot tops and places a neat little bow on the side of each boot. Adorable!

Yes it is a coat but I like to wear it as coat dress because this is not a coat that should be taken off and neatly hung in the closet. Oh no, no, no, no! Believe me, once you put it on, you will want to wear it everywhere and show it off. Not only is this coat cute as can be...it's fresh, fun, and daring. I believe Asheranna has made a statement with this piece...and so will you when you wear it.

Gothic and Fabulous

Bella Gothic Dress

Kalabrie Allstar, designer and owner of Zeitgeist, designed this fabulous gothic mesh dress she calls Bella. I love how she designed this semi-formal dress. A semi-sweetheart corset top that gently pushes up on the bust and how it shows off the curves of your hips, with an understated print on the front with a flowing high-low skirt attached to it. The low, square neckline accentuates the neck giving you enough space for whatever piece of jewelry you choose to wear....or you can wear nothing at all if you want to bring attention to your gorgeous neck. (A beautiful neck is incredibly sexy  you know.) The sleeves are tight around the shoulders and down to the elbows and then falls freely in a fabulous flair sleeves that fall past the fingertips. The edges of the skirt and flair sleeves are trimmed in lace. There are four black bows on the dress: one on each side of the hips where the corset ends and the skirt begins and the other two on each sleeve where the flair begins. The dress flows beautifully when you walk and when you are whisked around the dance floor by a handsome man. It is, in a word...feminine. and when you put it on, you feel feminine. If goth is your style, then this is the dress for you.

Every Dark Muse Needs A Great Pair of Boots

There's nothing like a sexy outfit and a sexy pair of boots worn together. I don't know if Heydra Starfall, designer and owner of DaZed DeZineZ, had her Dark Muse outfit in mind when she designed the Savatage boots however, it is the perfect match.

The Dark Muse skirt/top/collar ensemble holds a special place in my heart as this is the outfit that made me fall in love with mesh. I'm a girl with hips and some "junk in my trunk" and I did not have to make any adjustments; very minor adjustments were made to my bust to fit the top.

It is an incredibly sexy outfit and can be worn with or without the collar. Silver studs line the bottom and the top of both breast pads, around the waist line of the skirt and at each of the top corners of the two, small back pockets. If you like attention, then this is the outfit that will get you just what you ordered.

The black Savatage boots stop just above the knee to show off your sexy thighs while wearing a cute pair of booty shorts or your favorite mini. It even looks great with a pair of jeans. It comes with a color HUD giving an option of a total of 12 colors (the black boots in the picture above and the ll other colors in the photos below the style notes). It has silver studs that line the top of the boots and a heel that is slender and of mid-height. It is offered in three sizes: small, medium, and large.

A Victorious Step for ~*Moolala*~

I know it was not intentional but Moolala's Stephanie Pattern top could not have a more perfect name as the meaning of "Stephanie" is "crowned in victory".  I believe AmandaSue Hallison has taken that victorious step with this new top that comes with a hud that gives  you a total of 8 different top patterns and colors. Now, coming from a gal whose inventory is littered with fatpacks, I can attest every option is a home run. Miss Moo (a term of endearment her close friends use) has even added her amazing tintable pasties in the package, and yes, she does sell the tintable pasties separately. If the bright color/patterns aren't your thing, then don't walk away, there is also a Stephanie Pattern top with dark color/pattern options. The fit of this mesh top is wonderful. I love versatility in a top and this top is certainly versatile; it can be dressed up or dressed down and can be worn with just about anything you want...pants or skirt. The tintable pasties can be easily edited to match your skin tone after you have it on by choosing it in your inventory and editing it. It merely took seconds! I love this top. I love her top options. I love her tintable pasties. I believe it is by far her best top that she has created. It has become my favorite top to wear and I have to fight the urge not to wear it and I believe you will agree with me.
